Irish group Some One's Sons has become a fresh breath of authenticity in the contemporary Irish folk scene with sold-out captivating live performances which has garnered them a dedicated fanbase

With lead singers Daniel and Greg at the helm, the band effortlessly captures the essence of Irish storytelling through a seamless blend of ballads and lively tunes, backed with booming vocals and vibrant harmonies.

The latest track from the lads is The Banshee Wall, a nod to myths and local folklore stories. Growing up, we were surrounded by stories of haunted houses, banshees and witches. The title is a nod to that, I'll meet you back where it all began, when we were just kids listening to ghost stories says Daniel.

Reflecting on the song, Daniel continues;

there was a time I was at going away parties every second week. You're happy for everyone, but selfishly you hate to see them go." The ballad reassures the person emigrating that no matter what, there's always a place for them in their heart

Some One's Sons embark on a summer tour, with performances supporting celebrated acts like the Wolfe Tones and George Murphy, a headline performance at Whelan's, and festivals including Electric Picnic, Galway Folk Fest, Riverfest, and the Fleadh Cheoil.
