Irish rockers Little Known keep rising with new single

Music Review | 27th Sept, 2025 Little Known Little Known

Cork’s own indie shoegaze quartet Little Known are on a serious upward climb. The band has built a reputation for their emotive, guitar-driven sound, something that’s already shone through in singles like Headwreck, Listen, and Slow Daze. Those tracks helped cement their place in the Irish music scene, but their latest release takes things up another notch.

Their new single, It Should Be Easy, is a heavy, atmospheric rocker that feels equal parts raw and expansive. Driven by dynamic vocals and a wall of shimmering guitars, the track pulls you into a rich, immersive soundscape. It’s the kind of song that feels tailor-made for late-night headphone listens, but you just know it’s going to hit even harder in a live setting.

The timing couldn’t be better either. With a growing fanbase and their sound continuing to evolve, Little Known are making waves as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging bands. They’ve also been handpicked to showcase at Ireland Music Week (1st-3rd Oct), a perfect stage to introduce their music to an even wider audience. And right after that, on October 10th, they’ll be dropping their brand new Billy EP—which, if the single is anything to go by, is going to be a must-listen.

It Should Be Easy is the perfect taste of what’s to come: powerful, emotive, and proof that Little Known are living up to their name less and less.
