Kin Kabal drop explosive debut Single Clear
– Gritty alt-rock with big sing-along hooks

The alt-rock underground has a new name making noise: Kin Kabal. With sharp edges, hook-loaded guitars, and the kind of choruses that beg to be yelled back from a sweaty crowd, the band are quickly carving out their own lane. Their sound fuses gritty alt-rock punch with flashes of new-wave cool, and it’s already turning heads on the live circuit.
Formed in 2025, Kin Kabal have spent the past year grinding it out on stage, steadily building a loyal following gig by gig. Now they’re stepping things up with their debut single Clear, and it lands like a statement of intent.
Clear
wastes zero time getting down to business. A thick, buzzing riff tears the door open before the track slams into gear with a heavy, driving beat. It’s loud, restless, and packed with thrashing guitars that weave in and out of the mix. There’s a modern alternative rock edge running through the track, but the real hook comes from the emotionally charged vocal delivery and a chorus that’s practically built for mass sing-alongs.
Lyrically, Kin Kabal aren’t afraid to dig into the darker corners either. Their songs wrestle with burnout, late-capitalism anxiety, and that creeping sense of identity slowly slipping away. It’s heavy subject matter, but wrapped in music that hits hard and sticks in your head.
You can hear shades of artists like Nothing But Thieves, The Cranberries, Depeche Mode, Wolf Alice, and The Cure in their DNA, but Kin Kabal are clearly shaping something of their own out of those influences.
With Clear
now out in the wild, the band aren’t slowing down. 2026 already looks busy, with more music on the horizon and plenty of live shows planned. If their debut single is anything to go by, Kin Kabal are just getting started, and they’re planning to make a lot more noise before the year is out.
