The Pozers Release New Single The Separation Inspired by Classic 60s Pop

Music Review | 5th Jan, 2026

The Pozers have never been shy about wearing their love for classic pop on their sleeve. Firmly rooted in a dreamy, ’60s-inspired haze, the band leans hard into nostalgia while keeping things fresh, fun, and endlessly melodic. Since forming back in the ’90s, they’ve quietly built an impressive catalog of feel-good songs, releasing eight albums along the way and earning spots in magazines, TV shows, movies, and on radio and XM stations around the globe.

Their 2023 album Something Pop proved to be another high point, sparking a successful UK tour that brought in new fans and reminded longtime listeners why The Pozers do what they do so well. Now back home and back in the studio, the band is keeping the momentum going with their latest single, The Separation.

True to the Pozers’ signature sound, The Separation is soaked in sunny ’60s vibes. A pounding piano drives the track forward, joined by jangly bells, warm melodic vocals, and rich layers of harmony that feel tailor-made for repeat listens.

Adding another notch to their long-running story, The Separation also appears on International Pop Overthrow Vol. 26, released via Omnivore Recordings, a perfect home for a band that continues to celebrate pop’s timeless charm.

The single, The Separation, is available through all streaming platforms.
