BIIRD Announce National Concert Hall Dublin Show for December 2026

BIIRD

Irish trad supergroup BIIRD are heading to Dublin's National Concert Hall on December 1st, 2026, and given how quickly they've been selling out venues, this could be another hot ticket. The all-female collective have been making serious waves since bursting onto the scene last year, bringing traditional Irish music to a whole new audience with high-energy performances, plenty of personality and a fresh take on the trad session.

BIIRD Are Taking Irish Trad Music to Another Level

If you haven't come across BIIRD yet, you've probably been missing out on one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the Irish music scene in recent times. Taking the familiar sounds of a lively pub session and giving them a fresh twist, the group have built a reputation for performances that are full of energy, brilliant musicianship and a genuine love for Irish traditional music.

But there's more to BIIRD than simply putting a modern spin on trad. Their commitment to Irish design is just as important as the music, with their distinctive look becoming a big part of what makes them stand out. There's a real sense of camaraderie between the musicians too, and when they're all playing together, it's easy to see why audiences have taken to them so quickly.

From The Late Late Show to Sold-Out Venues

It's been quite the rise for BIIRD, particularly considering how little time they've been around. Following their appearance on The Late Late Show in February 2025, the group went on to sell out every date on their debut Irish and UK tour. Their Dublin show at Vicar Street even had to be upgraded to meet demand, and all of this happened before they'd released any music.

Things didn't exactly slow down after that either. BIIRD went on to perform on the main stage at All Together Now, playing to a crowd of around 15,000 festivalgoers and proving that their music works just as well on a massive festival stage as it does in a packed venue. It's been a remarkable run for a group still relatively new to the scene.

Big 2026 Ahead for BIIRD

The National Concert Hall date looks set to be another milestone in what is shaping up to be a massive year for BIIRD. Having signed with Primary Talent as their booking agents, the group are preparing for an extensive run of shows across Ireland, the UK and the US, with further tour announcements expected. There are also other projects in the pipeline, so there's plenty more to come.

And while BIIRD have already shown they can command a huge festival crowd, seeing them take over the National Concert Hall should be a different experience altogether. It's one of Dublin's best-known music venues, and it'll be interesting to see how the group's lively, session-inspired performances translate to a setting that's usually associated with a very different kind of concert.

BIIRD National Concert Hall Tickets and Date

Final Verdict

BIIRD have managed to make traditional Irish music feel fresh and exciting without losing sight of what makes it special in the first place. From selling out their debut tour to playing in front of thousands at All Together Now, they've built up some serious momentum in a short space of time. Their National Concert Hall show looks like another big night, and we'd expect tickets to move quickly.
