Nadia Desree Has Us Thinking Of You
With Her Feel-Good New Single
Since releasing her debut single Easy Tiger (Demo)
back in 2020, Dublin-based singer-songwriter Nadia Desree has steadily been making her mark with a blend of catchy pop melodies, soulful vocals and emotionally driven songwriting.
Previous releases including Falling
, Hold On
, Riot
and Gotta Let It Go
have shown Nadia's ability to combine commercial pop appeal with a more personal approach to songwriting, exploring themes of love, self-discovery and human connection along the way.
Earlier in 2026, Nadia released So Much More, picking up over 5,000 Spotify streams alongside support from music publications and radio stations. Now she is back with her latest single, Thinking Of You.
From the opening seconds, Thinking Of You
settles into a relaxed R&B-influenced groove. An intimate, rhythmic guitar provides the foundation for Nadia's vocals, while a minimal beat gradually slips into the mix, keeping the track light and easygoing.
There is plenty going on beneath the surface too. Atmospheric textures sit quietly in the background, while gently picked guitar appears and disappears throughout the arrangement. It all gives the track a warm, laid-back feel without taking attention away from the vocals.
And it is Nadia's voice that remains the real focus.
Her soulful tone and smooth delivery bring plenty of emotion to the track, with her vocals almost becoming another melodic instrument within the arrangement. There is a natural warmth to the performance that suits the romantic subject matter perfectly.
At its heart, Thinking Of You
is a love song, but Nadia avoids making it feel overly predictable. Instead, the lyrics use romantic imagery to capture that all-consuming feeling of having someone constantly on your mind.
Whether it's going the distance for someone you love, imagining a future together or simply getting caught up in the excitement of falling for someone, the song embraces the positive side of romance. There is an infectious sense of happiness running through it, making this an easy track to put on when you're in a good mood.
The chorus is particularly memorable, giving Thinking Of You
the kind of instant hook that sticks around after the song has finished. Combined with the contemporary pop production and R&B touches, it makes for a polished and accessible release that still retains Nadia Desree's soulful identity.
Final Verdict
Thinking Of You
sees Nadia Desree deliver a bright and feel-good pop track with plenty of soul. The combination of smooth vocals, atmospheric production and an infectious chorus makes this an enjoyable listen, while the romantic lyrics give the song a genuine sense of warmth.
With another strong release under her belt, Nadia Desree continues to show why she is an artist worth keeping an eye on as her music develops.
The single, Thinking Of You, is available through all streaming platforms.
